Marina Beach - A Day Out

It was my week off and getting a off in Night shift is like getting some space to talk when arguing with our girl friend. I planned for some other activities on this day but Suddenly my Cousin came to chennai for internship. His name is Sakthivel , he came along with his 2 friends. Since he is new to chennai he planned for his free time. So I have changed my plan for my week off and decided to hangout with those guys. I called my cousin and ask for their plan after the class. He told that they wish to go to beach and enjoy there. So we fix the plan and decide to go MARINA BEACH. 

Tuesday evening at 5.30 pm :- 

I started from my home and reached my cousin room which is in Kodambakkam. My brother Saravanan join the day out with us. So totally we 5 members assembled at a spot and disscus about our mode of transport. Since trains are not frequently available and also buses we decided to book a cab. So we booked a cab from Kodambakkam to Marina. Cab was on the way and meanwhile we had our evening tea with biscuits. Around 6 pm cab arrived and we all get into it. It was heavy  traffic in Mount road and so vehicles were moved inch by inch. Atlast we reached marina around 7.30pm. There was already a great crowd in beach and it gives good feel since after lockdown there was a good crowed. We just walked into the roads of the beach expirencing good surrounding and wind. It is good pleasure to see children playing with their parents , Old people going for a walk , Group of friends , Group of family members , loving couple ( not really ) around the beach. It was night and beach is looking great with the street lights and lights of small shops in the beach. I know it is a normal thing to visit beach but for me it a place of mixed emotions. 

My brother start asking for a fish fry which is very common thing in beach. But my plan is to enjoy the atmosphere and while returning home have food with famous fish fry. So went to balloon shooting game which another common thing there. No matter what is our age once we step in to a place where joy is overloaded we need to adopt for that. We got 8 chances for Rs.30 so we decided to share the chance. We set the target for the one who shoots the balloon by point out a particular balloon which he need to shoot. Every one shoot one balloon except me. Basically I'm a soft hearted person so handling a gun is quite difficult right ! . 

Next we went near the sea. The view was amazing and the reflection of the moon in the sea gives us 1000 of thoughts. We wet our foots in the sea waves and spent some time there. After that I came alone and sat in the shore and continue watching the sea and the beauty of the nature. When ever I feel down this sea waves and moon reflection will bounce my mood back. I spent hours and hours of time like this before. I used to build house and craft works in sands. I used to sit alone and enjoy that time. But this time the scenes are different. There are many people who played with their family and friends playing in the sea waves. I was enjoying those things. Again I went to join with my brother and cousins. After few minutes we planned to have masala corns. So we went to buy corns which is another common thing. We saw 2 police men who was eating there. My cousin told me about those police men like " they will ask money from them also having food in no cost. This is totally bullshit ". We order for 2 corns for Rs.80 ( Rs.40 each ). While preparing the corn for us one of the police men came to the lady who is handling the shop and convey his thanks to her. Soon after he takes Rs.500 from his wallet and put it in the shop cash box. Suddenly that lady refused that and told " sir. No need money ! Please take this back and kindly come regularly ". For this that police men told " I know that past two days there is no business for you. Keep that with you. I just gave Rs.50 ". But we saw that he put Rs.500 in her cash box. With a smile they went for their duty. That lady is really happy about it. After this incident we went back to the place where we sat before. 

We start talking about various things and time really went good. But after sometime it become little bit boaring  so I put a plan.  I called my brother and asked him to lock my cousin. He casually came back to my cousin and locked him. I gave my phone to his friends and ask them to record these. Me and my Brother along with my cousin friend put my Cousin into the sea. He shouted a lot and ask to leave him. He was fully wet and looks like fishery Man who comes out from sea after years. We really enjoyed that moment and gave kerchief to clean his head and face. For some time he is quite and little bit upset but after that he too joined that funny incident. 

After that we had food there. I will never miss the fish fry when ever went to beach. So we order fresh fish fry and fired rice. Really a good atmosphere to eat. Fresh wind with sea viewing point. Fish fry starts with Rs.40 and highest rate of Rs.250. the taste is really good and worth for money. But comparing to fried rice noodles gives better taste. Both are at same rate of Rs.100. spent much time talking about next day plan and other things. Time is nearly 9pm and I know it's time to book cab. After paying amount for food we start coming out from the beach. At that time more family sitting there in group and enjoying their time.

After booking cab my brother asked for ice cream. So we decide to finish this trip with ice cream. We had Ice cream for our choices. The price is quite different from the MRP. After that we waited for cab confirmation. After couple of minutes our cab was confirmed. Driver called us and we ask him to come near " Nambha Chennai ". we waiting for long but he cancelled our ride. So we took some photos near "Nambha Chennai" Logo. Then we decided to get an auto. So we get an Auto and reached ur location. Driver asked reasonable price ( Rs.250 ) for that ride. So our Day out end here with lots of fun and joy. 

This might be not a different place or trip but we had a great time there.As I mentioned already beach is a place of mixed emotions. Whenever I feel down the place will surely cure my wound. Also a budget friendly place. This is a place where nature showes gives different experience. In early morning we can feel pleasantly , in late evening romantic , in night heavenly and in late night fear. I know you all experienced this place atleast once in life time. But I thought to share this day out with you all and I did the same. I hope that you all not feel bored while readed this. According to me beach is a different world which we missed lot of things there and do same things whenever we goes there. 

The sands in beach are the greatest art and sea waves are shades for them. One who walks with nature will receive more than one who seeks for it. If we look deep into nature, we can get things better and beach is a good spot for that if we don't consider the trees on roadside as nature.
