Javvadhu Hills - Unknown Heaven

 A travel with people whether it is on Road or life is an best experience in our life Span. Every minute, seconds are very important and memories which we spent with one or group who can make us Happy in any situation. Like that me with my lovely friends planning for a trip after a Long Custody of Corona. Nearly 6 months quarantine , complete Lock down while we forgot the meaning of Explore. Infact a small tiny living thing that took the charge of Exploring the world which is commonly known as COVID-19. So finally Government gave some relaxation on lockdown which is expected by every individual. Many new talents were Came in these quarantine who got new way to approach their dreams. 

But for some  normal middle class boy who always thinks about exploring USA, Philippines , Himalayas but his greatest explored place is pondicherry till date. He non other than me. Yes myself planning for a long ride.  Had a discussion with my friends about this ride. At beginning it started as timepass discussion since we are still under lockdown situation with some relaxations. It started with 3 members which forms a group with 6 members including that innocent dreaming middle class boy me. Our first choice is Kolli Hills which is located in Namakkal district. Planning for a tour is like expecting our political leaders to do all their promise after the election but the result is like thinking about that after few months and felt this will never going to happen. Same thing happens in our plan. That too because of the lockdown. Yes ! All the tourist places were remain closed in Kolli Hills. So we all started blaming government for not opening tourist place and this repeats everyday in our regular Tea stall. But if a strong thought and there will be a way to achieve that. Atlast we decided to explore Javvadhu Hills which we start to call that as Unknown Heaven after Explored there. So We planned for that trip on a fine Sunday. Beauty of this trip is no one had a knowledge about that place and out of 6 one man is non alcoholic. So we planned for that trip. We arranged all the things which is mandatory. We first includes first aid kits and sanitizer in that. So we 6 peoples with No knowledge about that place with a plusar , a Royal enfield and a king of Mileage Splendor and a non alcoholic with 5 alcoholic guys were ready to start that trip.

* We always used to discuss about this plan in Our work area , Pantry , tea shop , whatsapp also in dreams sometimes. So we started Noticed by some members who started to criticize our plan. 

So we need to Complete this trip to shut their mouth and prove that we are not story tellers actually we are characters who will play our role better. 

Trip Day :- 03-10-2020 Sunday. 

Early morning - 4.00am

I woke up at time and packed all my stuffs and waiting for my friend who regularly picks me from my home. Since it was October month I though it will be more fog so I put up on my jerking. Normally I will make things slower but this time I was on time since I'm very much excited about this trip. While standing in my street around 4.30am and waiting for my friend ( Shyam ) dogs start barking and suddenly heated some sound of animal which I heard in Jurassic park movie. My mood started giving company to all horror movies which I watch from my childhood that stored in my mind. After that I realised that it was snores sound coming from my neighbour house. While I feeling about that family situation my friend bike called me with its unique Horn. With him My another friend ( Dinesh Babu ) came with his RX - 100 bike. Shyam came with his newly brought Jerking specially to bear the climate in hills. So we 3 started from my house to my another friend room which is located in Guindy ( Approximately 4 km from my home ). Time is around 4.45am we reached to my friends home. His name is Murali. He is packing his stuffs in bag. I entered his room and helped him in packing. Finally we found a good space to keep our liquor bottles in our travel bag. There we parked Dinesh RX-100 and we took murali bike ( Honda ). Now we gave dinesh a jerking which he need to harly belive that it was a jerking. From there we took a picture and videos and start moving from there. Now we are traveling towards vandalur zoo to join with our other 2 friends ( Kasim and Aprose ). Around 5.30 am We reached Vandalur and there we had a tea and snacks. We took pics and start our trip from there. As per our Plan we need to reach javvadhu hills by 12.00pm. I paired with shyam ( Atleast I got a pair in trip) , Aprose and Kasim in pulsar and Murali and Dinesh in Honda ( The most lovable pair in this trip ).

By the Help of Google map we are good with the route and in the travel we enjoyed nature, experienced lot of things. In the middle we lost Murali and Dinesh and waited till they joined us. Murali and Dinesh statred their argument but it ended with lot of fun. Finally Dinesh won the argument and get the driver seat. We maintained average speed of 60km also enjoying the travel. In the way we witnessed more bikers are going in that route so in this stage we got some boost since we have small doubt about permission in Lockdown stages and all. Now it is around 7.30am. We are in Highways which leads to Vellore. By this time only we noticed that Aprose wearing Rain coat instead of jerking. I just rises my speed and went near Aprose and asked about this for that he replied that He is so aware of rain in that area. So we all are looking him like crow in night time. But at this point we realise that Aprose is very conscious and pre planned about what we doing and about the place , climate and other things. After sometime we took photos in Highways and Had good food at vellore. 

The food is really Good and cheap. The cost is about less then half what we planned. From there we called our cottage which we booked for staying. They Guided the route which found difficult for us. We said once I reach mountain we will contact you kindly guide from there. For this the reply gave us very shock. Yes ! There will be no network and he is using landline. No shopes around the cottage and if we need to buy again we have to come down from the mountain. Probably the is located in the center of the mount with Trees and Mountain as neighbours. So again we statred from there and reached  chengam ( Bottom of the hills ). There we brought The things for drinks , cooking food , chicken , vegetables etc. Then we started to travel in Hair pin bends. We have Explored very beautiful Hills , trees and great sight of natures. Around 2pm we reached perumuttam. At the top of the hills there are 4 to 5 small villages hardly 3 to 6 houses. Some of them don't even know about the mobile phone. Wow!! what an life they all living. Though it is hills surrounded it become so hard to find our cottage. At a stage we croosed the cottage and went 5 km forward. It's full of forest area , looking for Kong and Other monsters ( My personal thought ). At last we found our cottage. It is the only cottage in javvadhu hills.

Please contact to book a room in advance and they have only 3 cottages. Good for family with Kids and even for group of guys.

They prepared Good lunch for us. Around 3 pm we had Lunch there. Non veg meals in natural surroundings. We have went for many hotels but this is the best Lunch we had ever in my life time. Taste is extraordinary and unique. The typical village style chicken gravy and Rasam makes the Lunch perfect. After that we went to pay rent for the cottage. As we all thought that India changed into digital form we ask for Gpay and Phonepe. But the fact is there is no towers and signal. So the incharge for cottage ( Kiran ) ask for money. So we again need to go down to the hills. Kasim voluntary came forward for this task. Shyam joined him. So again he went down ( 15km ) to take money from ATM. Mean time Kiran gave us Bat, Ball and required things to play. He is very nice and kind person. Age will be around 40+ but looking the guest very kindly and do thier needful. Wonderful place, we haven’t seen a place like this. They had ducks, hen, turkey, goat and colourful flower plants around the cottage. After relaxing for an hour, we were playing badminton, cricket and caram. They had all the sports equipments and a small swimming pool was also there. Then we went for a walk around the village area.Me Murali and Aprose came to play cricket. Kiran show us a place to play cricket. A big Baniyan tree empty place surrounded with tress. Next to that surrounded with hills. There Kiran created a swimming pool which is really good. It's like a kind of Man vs wild things which we all witnessed. We started playing cricket. It went joyfully and real feel like the best weekend we having. Meanwhile Dinesh woke up from sleep and Kasim came bake with money. Atlast we palyed together which gives really a great feel when I think about it right now. 

The time went very well. Then we went into our cottage and prepare ingredients for night cooking. Seriously a cottage with our loved friends doing a work which is not familiar Is a funny thing. My started cutting vegetables, kasim preparing dough for chappati where other watching IPl and bigboss. Lots of fun and jokes. Here Aprose who is a only committed and married one worrying about some thing which all family man will get. Mean time Kiran came and called us for Camp fire. He really prepared that camp fire well. Imagine outside the cottage there is no power and we need to sit in that light of camp fire. In my mind I'm getting some spooky things and Incidents. So we sit around the camp fire and started sharing the things which made our life. Sharing unforgettable incidents, first love , fights more things. Kiran plays good songs during the camp fire. 

Then we started having drinks which we brought, their Kiran gave different types of glasses. The night went great. Suddenly we couldn't find dinesh in that celebration. We searched him for a while and suddenly my mind get company with some spooky things. But the fact is He went to sleep ( Probably he spends most of the time in sleeping ). We save some liquor to have after dinner. So now Kiran gave the kitchen room and all for cooking. It's like 1980's kitchen room which our ancestors used at those days. Kasim made gravy for chappati while I prepare dough. Murali and Aprose Cooked chappati where Shyam Take care of camera man job. The conversation which we had there is simply awesome and hight of fun. Suddenly Kiran came to help us in kitchen. We refused that but he didn't hear us after that we realise he also join our party but without us. He is in full form. Started telling his story and how he came here , what and all he knows etc. Etc.. After that we went to cottage and had remaining drink and had our dinner. Meanwhile Kiran told that this is defence area and after 10pm military will be watching us. So he request us to not to come outside after 10pm have fun in cottage itself. 

But the liquor forced us to come out. We Gathered at a place and spread bedsheet there and had fun. Talking in loud voice, Having fun there and talking like great achivers in life. But the fact is next day we need to wake up at 6am if I did that is the biggest achievement for me. Hearing this sounds Kiran ran towards us and ask us to went inside but we refuse to go and ask him to join us. It went like some comedy show in middle of the forest surrounded with military. Suddenly Murali came to that spot and ask us to keep quite and we did. We expect that he will talk with Kiran and ask some time. But he did what we all done so far with Kiran. Like this the night went. After that we all went to cottage and had sleep.  Aprose the guy who is non alcoholic manage us and settled all the things. Around 3am he went to sleep. Suddenly Dinesh wake from slepp and searching for something. Aprose was like what the hell this is. Instead of this we can have liquor with them. Aprose with loud voice ask dines " What u want ? " . For that dinesh replied " nothing. Why are you still waking ?? Go and sleep ". Aprose was like who the hell he is !!! So the day went like this.

So next day morning around 5.30am all are getting ready except me and Murali. We can't wake up. Totally tired and we are asking time to them. But our plan is by starting here by 6.30 we can reach our office at 12.30pm and login at our shift. Kiran made Herbal tea for us. But due to heavy sleepy mood I didn't have that. We all gave great gooid bye to Kiran and to those place and start back to our office.

While returning to chennai murali and Dinesh missed thier route and it became very difficult to find them. It is really a great day with my friends. Very budget friendly trip in great place. For everyone who came to this trip it is a different and never come again experience. After this trip we called the place as Unknown Heaven. Atlast the long time planned trip was done with much more fun that we expected. If you have 1000rs then Javvadhu Hills is the correct choice for enjoying that day. Explore is a great feel and exploring with friends is another level great feel. Small life , 24 hours per day but we don't know how many 24 hours we are going to calculate and we going to pass away. So try to Own every 24 hours and if it feels So hard try to Own every sec which lead us to own 24 hours. Doing same work for Years doesn't gave us experience but facing and doing new things will give us real experience. DREAM AND EXPLORE because it is ENDLESS.
